In these pages, you’ll find data presented at borough/district and ward levels of Derbyshire. From there you can select from four live, fully interactive applications to analyse and present the data. The applications are: Mapping, which will generate maps based on certain themes; Ranking, which presents data in the form of league tables; Comparing, which compares direct performance; and Profiling, which will automatically profile an area based on various indicators. All of these results can then be e-mailed or downloaded.

One of the most important features of this website is that it allows locally gathered data to be entered and shared. As we look to shape the future of Derbyshire, it is only by working in partnership through systems such as this that we’ll start to see a change. The website offers all those using it the opportunity to ensure that we genuinely understand the local issues facing us, and as a result develop effective and sustainable solutions to fully address them.

In many ways, this system will only be as effective as the people who use it. This means that we need your help to ensure that the website offers what it should do.
