The Observatory
Welcome to Derbyshire Knowledge. You’re now testing the prototype of our online information service. It’s here to allow local residents, public agencies, voluntary/community groups and private businesses to pool and share important local knowledge.
In these pages, you’ll find data presented at borough/district and ward levels of Derbyshire. From there you can select from four live, fully interactive applications to analyse and present the data. The applications are: Mapping, which will generate maps based on certain themes; Ranking, which presents data in the form of league tables; Comparing, which compares direct performance; and Profiling, which will automatically profile an area based on various indicators. All of these results can then be e-mailed or downloaded.
